According to the survey results listed on goStructural.com , Felten Group placed 19th overall in a nationwide survey of the top engineering firms to work for and was the only firm listed in the Top 20 in the entire state of Arizona. There was a 22 percent increase in participants from the last year’s survey which made the comparison even tougher.

The Top 25 and honorable mention firms are also noted to go above and beyond what is expected of them in their area. According to the site, “this honor means two things: that a firm’s standards are superior to those considered minimal to participate in the program, and that the firm’s employees are happy. Ranked firms are evaluated and excel in such categories as culture, benefits, performance and recognition, compensation, professional development, and recruiting and retention.” Also worth mentioning about making the list is that each company shown on the list has a “corporate culture, number of employees and location that blends to create the perfect environment for each firm’s satisfied staff.”

The official survey results will be posted in the October edition of Structural Engineer Magazine. Final standings were announced publicly at the “Best Firm to Work for Summit” held September 18th and 19th in San Francisco, California.
