David has been working in structural design within the home building industry since completing his BSCE at the University of Arizona in 1997. His experience includes creating construction documents, spreadsheet and AutoCAD customization, stand-alone applications utilizing Visual Studio .NET, performing forensic engineering inspections, and expert testimony during arbitration. He has experience designing with wood, masonry, concrete, post-tensioned slabs on ground, and steel. David is licensed in Arizona, California, Colorado, Connecticut, Georgia, Florida, Hawaii, Idaho, Indiana, Iowa, Kansas, Kentucky, Louisiana, Maine, Maryland, Massachusetts, Minnesota, Missouri, Montana, Nebraska, Nevada, New Jersey, New Mexico, New York, North Carolina, Ohio, Oklahoma, Oregon, Rhode Island, South Carolina, Tennessee, Texas, Utah, Vermont, Virginia, Washington, Wisconsin, Wyoming, and the District of Columbia. He is separately licensed as a Structural Engineer in Arizona and Georgia and in combination with his Civil Engineering licenses in Idaho, Minnesota, Nevada, Oklahoma, Vermont and Utah. He currently carries the CalOES Safety Assessment Program (SAP) certificate until 2029.
